Amanda Kanaga Joins WMI from Time Inc., as SVP, Digital Advertising
September 15--Amanda Kanaga, formerly senior vice president, digital, Time Inc. Media Group, has joined WMI Holdings as senior vice president, digital advertising, a new position. In her new role, Ms. Kanaga will use her extensive background in developing and leveraging digital assets to create innovative solutions for clients. Building on WMI’s current strengths in social networking, viral marketing, CRM strategies and website development, Ms. Kanaga will expand WMI’s portfolio of digital media partnerships and strategic alliances to further develop the company’s digital offerings.
At Time Inc., Ms. Kanaga established the Time Inc. Digital Network, giving advertisers access to Time Inc.’s aggregated online audience of 28 million unique users, and providing customized, multi-platform plans for a range of fashion, beauty, mass and consumer packaged goods clients.
Prior to Time, Inc., Ms. Kanaga served as VP of business development at MNI, Time's targeted advertising division. Ms. Kanaga has also held various publisher positions at Norwalk, CT-based Business Journals, Inc., including associate publisher of Accessories magazine.
